A wonderful Attic in London by Parisotto e Formenton Architects.
We are at Chelsea today, one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in London, on top of a luxurious, Victorian style palace.
The Parisotto and Formenton Architecture Agency in Padua carrried out an extraordinary restructuring of the flat. Let’s say: “ Italians make the difference!”.
They do not use to design wonderful houses only, but also ship and yacht interiors and luxury business areas all over the world (such as the Nespresso boutique in Toronto and Fan Francisco). However, let’s go back to this fantastic attic in one of the most beautiful cities in the world! Try to imagine a flat of about 260 square metres, with an about 20 metres long glass window on one side, giving a spectacular view on London; an entrance leading to the wide living room/kitchen area and on the opposite side of the flat, the bedroom/bathroom area, supplied with any comfort.
The Paduan Agency has followed the whole work in any detail in order to exalt any centimetre of the house, doing its best to meet the owner’s needs. The result is really extraordinary: they could optimize any room, starting from the entrance, with a foldaway wardrobe, to the partition of the bedroom area and the arrangenment of the living one. As regards the furniture, they have chosen vintage objects of the Italian design, together with tribal African pieces. For the living room area they chose the Charles B&b Italia Sofa and the Eracle Maxalto Bookshelf, both designed by the expert hand of Antonio Citterio. Even for the bedroom area, for the master room in particular, they chose Maxalto pieces of furniture (bed and armchair of the Febo collection) and Fat Fat bedside tables by Patricia uniquiola for B&b Italia. Everything shows simple and clean lines, in a perfect accordance with the style of the flat.
