Today we’re going to talk about Natural Skin Kitchen by Silvio Stefani for Minacciolo
Today we’re going to talk about kitchens, in particular about one of the latest creations of the architect Silvio Stefani for Minacciolo: Natural Skin Kitchen.
The entire total black structure is enveloped by a warm heat-treated wood cladding. Thanks to a heat treatment process, the wood is more solid and stable, with a distinctive natural colour. All surfaces are protected with an impregnating varnish that protects them from external phenomena, without modifying the original features of the wood.
The kitchen is available in two variants, in order to meet everybody’s needs: the Home version and the Professional one, suitable even for the most demanding chefs.
The Professional Version, besides being equipped with professional equipment and top of the class appliances, has lower base units topped by real professional appliances, such as deep fryers, pasta cookers and chargrills. But let’s talk about the Home Version and let me explain the reason why I’ve decided to talk about it.
Among the many options you have to compose the kitchen as you prefer, Natural Skin offers the possibility to create wall storage solutions. The wall, composed of blocks of different sizes, creates a wide volume you can have access to from all 4 sides. What a practical and versatile use for your living space!
You can equip it with tiered pantries, drawers, pullout baskets or use it as small storage where you can hide everything you need every day, such as the hoover, the broom etc. I think it could be served as a partition wall between the kitchen and the living room. Everything is to hand, everything is easier and well-ordered. Natural Skin is not just a kitchen, it’s a new way of conceiving space, defining and using rooms in the home, with elegance and functionality.
