Next Tuesday, April 12th, is starting the 55th edition of Milano Design Week 2016, in Milan, the capital of fashion and of the Italian and worldwide design.
Right from now till the next days, I will talk to you every day about the Showroom because lots of appointments and events are waiting for me and it will be a pleasure to talk you about not only on social networks when they are exactly taking place, but also formerly.
As you already know, I will be in Milan all the week long and I’m going to accompany you throughout all the stands, shops, events and whatever goes around this very important event concerning architecture and design.
Rather, I take a chance to remind you to follow me on the social networks, especially on Snapchat, the last one arrived at Fillyourhomewithlove. I enjoy it a lot and I think that, thanks to its ten seconds’ videos, can drag you fully into the Milanese world.
Let’s see some figures just to make you understand totally the importance of the event
waiting for us. Consider that are expected more than 310,000 visits, with 1,300 worldwide expositors displayed on a surface of 150,000 square metres, without thinking of what stands around the Fuorisalone (out of the Showroom), of which I’m going to talk to you in the next days. Even the biennial expositions as Eurocucina (Eurokitchen) are back there with the collateral event FTK (Technology for the Kitchen) and the Bathroom International Showroom.
Another innovation is represented by pavilion n.3, wholly dedicated to extra-luxury furniture, to fashion and home decor. This pavilion was conceived also in anticipation of the first 2016 Furniture Showroom in Shangai, from 19th to 21st November, with the aim to show the Chinese the top Italian production as regards furniture and design. In China won’t be missing the SatelliteShowroom either, the launching pad for young, under 35 designers, and a fundamental meeting point for the best Italian firms in this sector and Chinese young emergent designers, rising considerably at international level, protagonist at the latest SatelliteShowroom in Milan, too.
